Sara is a PopAnth editor. She is currently doing her MA at European Central University in Budapest. Sara received her bachelor’s degree in anthropology with high honours from St. Mary’s College of California, located in the beautiful hills of San Francisco's East Bay. In addition to working as a promotional model, she has worked as a teaching assistant for an anthropological research methods course at St. Mary’s.
She is currently working on a collaborative review of Rhacel Salazar Parreñas’ ethnography Illicit Flirtations, which examines labour migration, trafficking, and sex work. She plans to apply to graduate school in the fall. Her proposed research aims to contrast transformations of gendered labor in socialist and post-socialist Hungary.
Sara loves to travel and has been to South America and South Asia. In her free time she enjoys running, swimming, and cooking delicious food.
